POSITION SUMMARY:
Develop Unit cost model, do cost breakdown analysis, benchmarking analysis.
Support integration and product consolidation and drive cost reduction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Create cost models for top spending Unit families
2. Establish target cost for AAA, AA parts. For each new family, analyze cost quoted by vendors based on cost model, cost breakdown analysis, benchmarking etc.
3. Drive cost reduction with vendors through analysis, negotiation, benchmarking, VA/VE, process optimization etc.
4. Work with management team on the integration and product consolidation as of Yunsheng and Linhai, track and report the project progress and implement improvement if needed.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES
This position will have no subordinates.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
1. Bachelor degree and above
2. Solid alternator manufacturing process and cost experience
3. Good excel and ERP software skill
4. Analytical, good negotiation, presentation and project management skill.
